What sets Gentleoak apart
Carefully Vetted Aides
Every caregiver joins only after a thorough background check, reference verification, and in-person skills assessment.
Personalized to Each Person
No two people age the same way. We take time to understand each individual's preferences, routines, and personality.
Regular Family Updates
Families receive consistent care notes, so you always know how your loved one is doing — even from a distance.
Flexible Scheduling
Morning, afternoon, evening, or full time — we arrange care around your family's needs, seven days a week.
Fully Insured Service
All care arrangements are covered by professional liability insurance, giving families an added layer of security.
Home — Not a Facility
We believe people thrive in familiar surroundings. Our services allow elderly individuals to remain at home, supported.
Things families often ask
How do I know if home care is the right option?
Home care tends to suit people who are generally safe in their own environment but benefit from structured assistance and regular company. If your loved one values independence and familiar surroundings, professional home support can bridge the gap between full independence and residential care.
How are caregivers selected and trained?
All Gentleoak aides pass a multi-stage process: background screening, previous employer references, and a practical skills review. Ongoing training covers mobility assistance, communication with older adults, and emergency awareness. We only work with people who demonstrate both competence and genuine care.
What happens if our needs change over time?
Care needs often evolve. We carry out regular reviews and can adjust visit frequency, duration, or service level as circumstances change. Families are always consulted before any changes are made, and we can transition between service tiers without disruption to your loved one's routine.
Are the services available on weekends and public holidays?
Yes. Our care network operates every day of the week, including public holidays. Live-in arrangements provide continuous presence by design, while scheduled visit services can be booked on any day subject to availability.
What does the initial consultation involve?
A free consultation is a relaxed conversation — in person or by phone — where we learn about your family's situation, the person needing care, and what daily life currently looks like. We use this to recommend the most suitable service and, if desired, to begin the matching process with an appropriate aide.
How is personal information and privacy handled?
All health and personal information shared with Gentleoak is handled with strict confidentiality. We follow Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act and limit data sharing to what is necessary for safe, coordinated care delivery. Families can request to review or update any information at any time.
